Germa Brouwer

The work of Germa Brouwer begins with seeing and finding: she sees a piece of cardboard on the street, takes a piece of wood from a container, or sees the interplay of lines of a building or a bridge. For her, making a sculpture is about making choices: stacking, building, connecting, looking, and sometimes starting over again.
